Nominator's project description
| Professor Carena is well known internationally for her outstanding research in theoretical high-energy physics. She has made numerous important contributions to the theory of matter-antimatter asymmetry in the universe and the nature of the dark matter. Professor Carena has also done seminal work on supersymmetry, electroweak symmetry breaking and models with extra dimensions of space. During her stay in Germany, she intends to elaborate on a class of particle-physics models addressing the dark-matter and flavour problems. |
